What is Coaching? The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as a powerful, collaborative partnership between the client and the coach; a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your personal and professional potential. In simpler terms, coaching helps you move from where you are now to where you want to be! As your coach, our relationship is built on trust, mutual respect, and true connection. Together we establish a secure container for self-expression, so that you feel at ease and able to show up as your most authentic self. This is the safe space where true growth and transformation can happen. I’ll support you along a path of self-discovery, recognizing and honoring that you already hold the answers within. Through powerful questioning, reflection and exploration of your values, current stories and deepest desires, we’ll identify and navigate the blocks that may be holding you back, facilitate new awareness and unlock the power of choice you possess in pursuit of your highest grandest vision.

What is your coaching philosophy? What you focus on expands: Napoleon Hill said it best, "What your mind can conceive and believe, it will achieve." The very act of engaging in coaching is a dynamic first step that sets growth in motion. While cultivating new awareness fuels that growth, it’s the inspired, values-aligned actions and accountability that will open doors to your untapped potential, and unlock possibilities. Sustainable change comes from coaching the "who", not the "what": Rather than focusing on the “what,” my approach begins with your ‘who’ - the thoughts, feelings, actions, values, and stories that impact how you show up. This is coaching from the inside out, and it lays the groundwork for transformational, sustainable change and deeper satisfaction across all areas of life.

What does working with you look like?We begin our work together with a proprietary assessment called the Energy Leadership Index. This attitude assessment helps us gain a better understanding of your current mindset. It also establishes a powerful baseline for growth. From there, we engage in a discovery intake — a planning session to bring more clarity to where you are currently, and where you want to go. This lays the foundation for our work together. We’ll explore your ideal vision and your values; deepest desires, big hairy audacious goals, what makes you leap out of bed in the morning and what keeps you up late at night. This will inform our plan of action. Since we as humans are ever-evolving, your plan of action may evolve, too. And that's perfectly normal! The only thing I'm attached to is your forward momentum. With our plan of action established, we engage in regular sessions to identify and work through blocks, brainstorm and capitalize on areas of opportunity, re-energize and connect back to mission, and make sure actions are aligned with both your values and goals. From time to time, I'll introduce in tools, practices and strategies for you to try out, and there will be homework to support your continued learning and expansion. We always end sessions identifying any new awarenesses and next steps, establishing what accountability will look like for the week ahead and celebrating the work you’ve put in. As your partner in this process, you’ll have email support in between sessions for any insights that come up, if you find your energy is waning, or conversely, you're experiencing an 'A-HA' moment that can't wait.

Do we meet in person? Some clients want to meet in person. Others like the flexibility that Zoom provides. Either works! Regardless of how we meet, what's most important is that we both commit to showing up fully present, and to creating a private, distraction-free container for our work together.
